Norfolk Southern GP38-2 #5268 on the point taking local H76-03 east through Phillipsburg, NJ this afternoon @ 1325 hours. The 5268 was former Conrail #8057, nee-Penn Central #8057. In Conrail operations, the GP38-2 was one of 24 [Conrail #8040 - 8064, NS 5257 - 5273] that was cleared for use at Pennsylvania Power & Light Company's Strawberry Ridge [PA] rotary dumper. Unit was repainted in Februay 2004.
